Dr. Karlie Snyder completed her undergraduate degree in communication disorders at Truman State University and earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Kansas Medical Center, where her research in tinnitus received an Exemplary Research award. Originally planning to pursue speech-language pathology, Dr. Snyder fell in love with audiology during an undergraduate course at the VA. Drawn to the field’s unique combination of advanced science and hands-on technology, she joined Hearing Care Partners in June of 2024 as an extern and, following her graduation in June 2025, she accepted a full-time position as an audiologist.
Dr. Snyder believes audiology is a perfect blend of art and science – offering variety, personal connection, and the daily challenge of helping people hear their best. She and her wife live in Kirksville with their two dogs, Bailey and Blue. In her free time, she enjoys walking the dogs, golfing, watching movies, thrifting, and reading.
