Hearing Aid Styles

Find the Right Fit for Your Lifestyle

One size doesn’t fit all when it comes to hearing aids. At Hearing Care Partners, we offer a variety of styles designed for different needs, preferences, and budgets.

Behind-the-Ear (BTE)

BTE hearing aids rest comfortably behind the ear with a thin tube or wire leading to an earmold or dome inside the ear canal. They are powerful, durable, and suitable for all degrees of hearing loss.

Receiver-in-Canal (RIC)

Similar to BTEs but smaller, RIC hearing aids place the speaker directly in the ear canal. This design provides a more natural sound and is one of today’s most popular styles.

In-the-Ear (ITE)

ITE hearing aids fill part or all of the outer ear. They are easy to handle, have larger batteries for longer life, and can include advanced features like directional microphones.

In-the-Canal (ITC) and Completely-in-Canal (CIC)

These smaller devices sit partially or fully inside the ear canal, offering a discreet option. They are best for mild to moderate hearing loss and are nearly invisible when worn.

Choosing Your Style

The right hearing aid style depends on your hearing loss, ear anatomy, lifestyle, and cosmetic preferences. Our team will guide you through your options, so you feel confident in your choice.
